My wife has always wanted to go to Italy, but she was afraid of flying. That did present a problem, since neither of us were interested in taking a boat to get there! We were married for about 14 years when she finally agreed to go on a short business trip with me, and that is what broke her fear of flying. It took another two years before I was able to go to the Cuvee website and look at their Italian villa rentals, mainly because of time factors. I wanted to be able to enjoy our time there without having to be on the phone or computer half the day with work projects.
I had considered leaving our three children with my parents so we could enjoy a second honeymoon, but I knew that this trip would mean so much more to her if the kids were with us. They are all young teens, so this might be one of the last trips where they actually wanted to be with us instead of their friends! I looked at the Florence Flat rental because it has four bedrooms and four bathrooms, which is something that is much needed when there are four females in a family of five.
When I showed her the pictures of the rental villa, she fell in love with the idea. She also liked the fact that it was in Tuscany, which is one of the places she has always wanted to visit. The villa provides all the luxurious comforts of home in an amazingly beautiful setting, and all five of us were looking forward to this vacation. We ended up staying eight nights, but we could have stayed another eight and still not had our fill. That is why we are going to rent the same house next summer to make even more memories there!
